FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Lowes Foods is re-opening the Pinehurst location on Wednesday September 21, 2011. The 49,145 square foot FreshSmart store at 266 Central Park Avenue in the Olmstead Shopping Center in Pinehurst will be open from 7:00am until midnight daily. The store has many new features designed to give its customers a more pleasant and convenient shopping experience. Grand opening events on Wednesday include a prize wheel giveaway, free product sampling and a live radio broadcast with 96.5 Bob FM beginning at 10:00am.
The updated Lowes Foods store in Pinehurst has a larger selection of wine and beer, cheese and other gourmet choices. The produce department has the added feature of cut and ready vegetables. Vegetables are already prepared for added convenience and sold by the pound so customers can pick as much or as little as they need. The store also has an updated Deli department with a salad bar.
One of the other features new to the Pinehurst community is Lowes Foods to Go. This service allows customers to place their order online; the order is picked by a personal shopper, and then can be picked up by the curb at a designated time. Customers who use the Lowes Foods to Go service over the next four weeks will be offered a variety of free products and an entry for a chance to win Lowes Foods gift cards, an iPod shuffle and free future Lowes Foods to Go personal shopping.
Grand opening specials will run from September 21st through October 18th. For a full version of the ad, visit www.lowesfoods.com/ad.
