Businesses, local schools and civic groups are actively involved in the donation efforts, raising awareness of the growing problem of hunger across the country. Local schools that partner with Lowes Foods’ donation efforts have the opportunity to earn Campbell’s Labels for Education for their school.
Kick off events will be held at several Lowes Foods locations on November 1st , including Yadkinville, Greensboro (New Garden Rd.), Raleigh (Louisburg Rd.), Mount Airy and Myrtle Beach (Grand Dunes). Local county officials will attend these events along with representatives from the food banks, General Mills, local schools and Lowes Foods.
