Training Programs

Management Preparation Program:
Anyone moving into a salaried store management position will get the opportunity to go through our management prep program prior to being assigned to a store. The program length depends on the person's experience and provides them the opportunity to work in every department within the store. Participants will be tested and evaluated on their skills during each phase of training. Upon successful completion of the program the employee will be assigned to a store location.

Trainer Certification:
Any manager responsible for training new managers will complete a trainer certification course to ensure that they are skilled and able to best equip our trainees.

Customer Service Leadership training:
To emphasize our commitment to customer satisfaction we also provide service leadership training to those employees who are in key customer service positions.

Computer-Based Training (CBT):
Most clerks begin their training with a series of CBT segments followed by on-the-job training.

Other Developmental Training:
As employees gain experience in their position, there are ongoing training opportunities for managers focusing on topics such as: Product training, Loss Prevention & Safety training, and Human Resources training.
