Lowes Foods announces NuVal Press Conference with Dr. Katz, creator of NuVal -- Winston-Salem, NC - April 9, 2012

Lowes Foods, in collaboration with Dr. David Katz, is pleased to invite you to a press conference to formally introduce the NuVal^TM Nutritional Scoring System. As a food retailer, Lowes Foods is committed to providing our customers with nutrition education and information that will lead to healthier choices. Together, along with others in Winston Salem, we can be a stronger force in the fight against obesity and diabetes in both children and adults in our community.

Dr. Katz will describe how the NuVal^TM Nutritional Scoring System can help individuals of all ages make better nutrition choices. NuVal^TM was developed by a team of recognized medical and nutrition experts, led by Dr. David Katz of the Yale Prevention Research Center. His visit will be a call to action to improve the healthy profile of our community and an introduction to a simple way to make meaningful changes.
