Locally Grown

Since we are a Carolinas-based company, we know how much it means to have the support of locals.   That's why we choose to support local farms and businesses by offering their products in our stores.  Here are just a few reasons why it's important to shop local:

NC 10% Campaign

As a company, we are committed to the NC 10% Campaign.  This is an initiative to encourage North Carolinians - consumers, organizations, agencies, and businesses alike - to spend 10% of their food budget on locally grown and produced foods.  We are proud to exceed 10% and from May through August, we source over 20% of total produce from farmers within the state.

Locally Grown Club

There's no better way to support locally grown produce at Lowes Foods than by joining the Locally Grown Club.  The program is only offered during the summer and you will receive a box of locally grown produce and/or items weekly.  Boxes include farmer's history, location, and great recipes that help our customers enjoy the seasonal contents of each box.  Go to our Locally Grown Club page for more details!
